Physical Therapy
Hello. I am Dr. Jeromy T. Schultz DPT, CSCS. I joined Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Associates as Director of Physical Therapy services in 2007. I was born in Athens and graduated locally from Nelsonville-York High School. I went on to Ohio University to earn a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Physiology. Upon graduation I attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I am also Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist endorsed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
I have experience in all clinical settings ranging from outpatient orthopedics, hospital acute care, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and pediactrics within the school. I have a special interest in Outpaitent Sports Medicine and the treatment of pathologies relating to the spine and shoulder. I have received training in specific manual techniques including Maitland and the McKenzie method for the treatment of neck and back pain. I feel that my manual skills and our staff's attention to detail set our facility apart from the others in the area.
Prior to joining Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Associates, I have traveled throughout the country working in several states including Ohio, Florida, Arizona, Oregon and Hawaii. I have had the opportunity to work with many therapists with different treatment approaches allowing me to gain a wide variety of skills while treating a diverse caseload ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and amateur to professional athletes. I have enjoyed being part of Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Associates and bringing my career and life experiences back the community of Athens County.
